SERVICES
The NEDA V Library
-
The
NEDA V Library includes all books, periodicals, pamphlets,
documents, and non-book materials obtained by the NEDA V through
purchase, donations, exchange and its own research and
statistical data-gathering system.

A
Union Catalog is provided for the entire NEDA Library
collection. These books and non-book materials are catalogued
and classified according to the Library of Congress System.

The
Library Committee shall be composed of the Reference Librarian
as Chairman and one (1) representative from each Division as
members.
The
functions of the Committee are as follows:

To
make an assessment/survey of present and future library
collection
-
To
make recommendation to the Management as to the urgent/relevant
subscription, books and reference materials for acquisition on a
quarterly basis to update and upgrade the services of the
library.
Who may use the Library?

Employees of NEDA Region V
-
Employees of Line Agencies
-
Members of Educational institutions and other private
individuals
-
Scholars/Consultants visiting NEDA Region V
-
Officers of Libraries extending their facilities to NEDA V
-
College and graduate students
-
Others
as approved by the NEDA V Regional Director
Use of the Library
-
The
library is open on Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon,
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Non-NEDA
researchers are required to present their valid ID to the
Security Guard on duty before they are allowed to enter the
Library.

Visiting scholars, researchers or former NEDA employees, college
and graduate students may use the Library resources within the
Library premises only

Persons entitled to the use of the Library are required to
register their names, residence, occupation and telephone
numbers
-
Bona
fide NEDA V employees are required to register in the
Circulation Section for a Borrower’s Card which is a record of
the book charges of a borrower. This BC is filed in the
Circulation Section.
