The major portion of Polangui form part of the
gentle slopes of the low-lying mountain range and rugged terrain of Mt. Masaraga
which spreads over the entire landscape of northeastern Albay. From the
north and northeastern boundaries, about half of the elevation of the mountain
peak, the terrain of Polangui slides down the mountain ranges, slopes
gradually flattening into the floodplains north and northeast of the Poblacion.
