Topography

The major portion of Polangui form part of the gentle slopes of the low-lying mountain range and rugged terrain of Mt. Masaraga which spreads  over the entire landscape of  northeastern Albay.  From  the north and northeastern boundaries, about half of the elevation  of the mountain peak,  the terrain  of Polangui slides down the mountain ranges, slopes gradually flattening into the floodplains north and northeast of the Poblacion.

Power and Electricity
ALECO is the only electric cooperatives which distributes and supplies the electric power requirements of the municipality. This cooperative energizes more or less  44 barangays.
Water Resources
Municipal waterworks serving  12 barangays and the Anopol Waterworks serving  10 barangays.
